Sagar has been extensively involved in projects that make the world a better place since the past 4 years in a professional and volunteer capacity. He has a Bachelor’s in Financial Markets from University of Mumbai.
In a professional capacity, he has worked with the Impact Investors Council, as a Sr. Associate – Communications & Investor Relations, with the aim to position India as THE designation to invest in Asia and showcase the India Impact Investing Landscape. He has also worked at Grameen Capital (Consultant – Investor Relations) and AIESEC in Singapore (Country Marketing Director).
In a volunteer capacity, he leads the media team of the youth constituency of UNFCCC covering COP28, SB60 and soon COP29. He is also a part of communities such as Global Shapers, UNLEASH, One Young World, Climate Reality Corps and YOUNGO where he is involved in a few projects.
He is currently also working with the India Arm of the Circular Economy for Plastics vertical at the World Economic Forum, where he is working with the Govt. of Maharashtra to formulate a 2030 Roadmap to curb plastic pollution in the state.
